Dante is a loyal companion who brings a wonderful mix of independence and affection. When it’s cuddle time, he’s happy to snuggle as close as you’ll let him. He has a bright, positive personality that shines through in everything he does.

This handsome guy is a great leash walker, totally housebroken, and already knows several tricks—with more on the way! He loves stuffed toys and can often be found happily chasing his own tail, keeping himself (and everyone watching) entertained. Dante has a moderate energy level—he enjoys walks and playtime but is equally happy relaxing at home afterward.

Dante thrives in a calm, adult-only home, as he’s not comfortable around children. He does best with another dog in the home—he truly enjoys having a canine friend to play with and keep him company. He’s done especially well living with other dogs, including dogs with special needs. While Dante can be protective of his space during meals, his boundaries have continued to improve as he settles in and feels secure. He loves treats and is crate trained.
