Cookie is a darling big girl who was adopted from MCACC as a puppy and then returned as an adult for no fault of her own. While at MCACC, their teams used her for their group testing! She is wonderful with other dogs as long as they aren't around when she eats her food and leave her alone if she is having individual play time with a toy. She was diagnosed with diabetes at the beginning of February and given a deadline. Hearts broke all over County. AZSDR swooped in and gave her a chance. She's now spent time with us and our vet team on insulin therapy and has been cleared for adoption to a home who understands her permanently ongoing medical needs.
