Meet Cookie
Cookie was adopted from MCACC as a puppy and recently returned for no fault of her own. While at MCACC, their teams used her for their group testing! She is wonderful with other dogs as long as they aren't around when she eats her food and leave her alone if she is having individual play time with a toy. She was diagnosed with diabetes at the beginning of February and given a deadline. Hearts broke all over County. AZSDR swooped in and gave her a chance. She's now at the shelter, starting on insulin therapy, and seeking a foster home while her levels stabilize and she gets into a good routine. Once the vets are happy with her levels and routine, she will be available for adoption! If you think you could track her insulin, give daily injections, and be a part of her hero team, please contact foster@azsmalldog.org and/or fill out a foster application.
