Oscar enjoys being close to his favorite people and will happily follow you from room to room, keeping you company wherever you go. While he loves your presence, he's not a fan of being touched just yet. He's looking for a patient family that will respect his boundaries, let him build trust at his own pace, and appreciate that love comes in many different forms. His favorite way to show affection is with gentle little nose boops and by soaking up all the compliments when you tell him how handsome he is.

If there's one thing Oscar loves more than people, it's other dogs! He absolutely thrives with canine companions and would love a home with another friendly dog. He's happiest when he's cuddling up with his dog friends, cleaning their faces, or sharing a cozy bed for naps.

Oscar is also potty trained and does an excellent job waiting to go outside. Because he's still shy about handling, a home with a secure backyard would be ideal, allowing him to comfortably go outside without the stress of frequent leash walks while he continues to gain confidence.
