Hattie is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix with a gentle spirit who is ready to find a safe and loving home. She came to us as a transfer from the Humane Society of Yuma after originally being found stray near the San Luis prison.

Hattie can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience and kindness she quickly warms up and shows her sweet, affectionate side. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys being around her people and soaking up attention.

She gets along well with other dogs and may enjoy having a calm canine companion in her new home. A patient family who will give her the time she needs to settle in will help her feel secure and allow her personality to shine.

After her time on the streets, Hattie is more than ready for a cozy home, a soft bed, and a family to call her own. 🐾
