Sweet Donnie has lived many lives to get to us and find his way to your heart and home. Donnie came to us from the Humane Society of Yuma. He came to them a very matted and very scared stray from San Luis. Thanks to multiple volunteers stepping in to help him face his fears, he was groomed in Yuma, and was finally able to make his way to us to find his forever family. Donnie is shy but oh so sweet, just looking for a lap to lay in and a family as loyal as he is. Donnie has so much love to give and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to show him the ropes and bring out his fun-loving side. Due to the struggles Donnie went through growing up, he has developed resource guarding behaviors. This can be managed in a home through proactive measures and, long-term, working with a trainer. You can meet Donnie anytime during business hours at the shelter.
